Considered a relative newcomer in North America compared to many other more established tractor brands, Mahindra USA set up shop in Texas in the mid-1990s. The brand now sells more tractors by volume than any of its competitors throughout the world. The sub compact line from Mahindra consists of the eMax S and eMax L series. The eMaxS 20s model delivers 19.4 HP with a loader lift capacity of 280 lbs. The eMaxL range features 2 models, the 22L delivering 22 HP with the eMax 25L reaching 25 HP. Engine output is via a 6F / 2R mechanical gear, or a two-range hydrostatic transmission in the case of eMax 22 tractors, or just the two-range hydro unit for the eMax 25. Forward/reverse direction and speed for hydro units is easily controlled by side-by-side pedals. These sub compact tractors are well suited for mowing and snow removal, while also covering small farm and landscaping tasks with ease with a range of implements.
