The John Deere 1 Series line consists of two sub-compact models, the 1023E, with a HP of  22.4 and the 1025R, with 23.9 HP.  These robust machines are suitable for most small farm tasks, with multiple optional implements like the easy to use AutoConnect mower deck or backhoes, rotary brooms or front blades. The transmission on the 1025R is a hydrostatic-drive unit with two speeds and user friendly Twin Touch foot controls, allowing drivers to easily select both direction and speed. The 1025R model can also easily switch between 2WD and 4WD using a lever, making it adaptable to different scenarios and workloads. The 1-series tractors come with an open operator station and a ROPS frame which can be folded down for storage or for when working around low hanging tree branches.
